Growth Friends Meet Ups

Inspired by the Mom Project’s webinar to uplevel our careers to the C-Suite, we created this online community with a quickness!
Growth friends are here to create a new professional network of contacts who want to make moves professionally.
This network is action-oriented, goal-specific, and designed to hold one another accountable for making progress and implementing systems for change.

Define Your Goals

You are 42% more likely to achieve your goals if you write them down (Forleo, 2019). Know what you want—get specific. Keep your goals broad enough that they can be achieved. Don’t limit yourself with an overly ambitious timeline. Do over-estimate your abilities and skills. Women are notoriously bad at knowing what we’re good at (Lewis, 2022).

An excellent podcast from Michael Lewis about mansplaining, and women’s ability to hedge their bets on their own skills. Worth a listen!

Be Accountable

Build Your Systems

“You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.

Your goal is your desired outcome. Your system is the collection of daily habits that will get you there.”
-James Clear

Growth Friends is a part of your system!

We are creating a network of professional women looking for more out of their careers. Members come from a variety of professional fields, including technology, pharmaceutical sales, higher education, marketing/advertising, human resources, and finance and operations. We also have members who have been out of the workforce and are looking to re-enter the professional sphere.
